Sam is a multidisciplinary engineer with over 35 years of experience delivering engineering solutions that reflect a care and understanding of people and places, and optimise value for clients.

With specialist expertise spanning sports and aquatic, performing arts, education, and retail projects, his experience ranges from stand-alone feasibility studies to leading full service delivery on $100M+ sports and aquatic centres, working across metropolitan and regional Victoria, interstate and New Zealand.

In his project role of Director in Charge, Sam maintains personal oversight from initiation to completion, providing trusted leadership and a consistent point of contact. Combining diverse practical experience with big-picture design thinking capability, he designs engineering solutions that consider the entire facility ecosystem alongside your specific operational context.

Sam fundamentally believes that engineering is about people, not just systems and technical solutions. His approach centres on understanding each stakeholder’s unique perspective—whether it’s the CEO focused on budget and impact, the facilities manager concerned with maintenance, or the end users who’ll experience the space daily.
