RSPCA HEADQUARTERS in Burwood has been the centre of the RSPCA operation for many years. The facility was upgraded to accommodate the increasing demand and care for animals in Victoria with the ‘worlds best practice’ in animal care achieved on a limited budget based of a not for profit organisation supported by community donations. This challenge required an innovative design with respect to the building ventilation and air conditioning systems implemented providing a ‘world’s best practice’ system with a cost effective outcome.

The scope of the works included Indoor Kennels for Dogs, Cat Enclosures, Housing for Rabbits and Indigenous Animals, Doggy Day Care and Grooming facilities, expanded Offices, and a retail space with Café, upgrade of the Veterinary spaces and upgrade to the Parade Ground.
