The CASEY ARC AQUATIC CENTRE REDEVELOPMENT is a major Sports and Aquatic facility in the outer eastern suburbs that was built in early 2000. The HVAC system had failed after a relatively short period of operation having a major impact on the air quality, building fabric and energy consumption. BRT designed a new control technology that uses building pressurization to remove condensation and reduce energy consumption by over 30%, also significantly reducing water and chemicals consumption by the facility. The new HVAC and controls system is expected to prolong the life expectancy of the facility along with recurrent energy and maintenance costs to the facility.

This is an example of numerous Recreation and Aquatic Centres that BRT has undertaken review, rectification and redevelopment works to, brining new life to the facility by improving indoor environmental quality while reducing energy, water and chemical consumption in the process
